Three broad directions, depending on who's coming.
Your own space, your own pool, your own schedule. Breakfast when you like, dinner on the terrace, nobody negotiating with a hotel restaurant. The best option for a group travelling together or a family spanning three generations.
Wake up, walk to the first tee. Resort golf at its best — spa, restaurants, kids' clubs and a course on site, so the golfers and the non-golfers never have to travel to find what they want.
Smaller, quieter, adults-only. For couples, or two pairs travelling together, who'd rather have somewhere characterful than somewhere enormous.
